There were a lot of stairs and no lift which makes it difficult to get small children and their strollers in an out and if you are older and less fit they are mount everest. There are also open plan stairs within the apartment that are a magnet to small infants. We had a lot of very small ants wanting to share our food. The cooker 'blew up' and the utensils were poor quality and damaged so cooking is out.
No hairdryer available so take your own. The rooms are otherwise good and the security excellent. The reception are friendly and try to accommodate clients. My assessment would be that anything above the ground floor is for the young and carefree because they are not 'family friendly' The staff are good and the pool/spa and barbecue facilities are excellent.
Better than surfers. Better choices of eating out places. The Pacific Fair shopping centre is a must to visit and the beaches are great. There are playparks for the kids and the place is generally more attractive than surfers although so close that you can get there in next to no time. The buses are very handy. Not a long walk. A lovely place to stay.
