Beautiful Broadbeach

We stayed at Ultra Broadbeach and were not disappointed. Our apartment was on the 21st floor and had great views. It was decorated nicely with modern furniture and had all the necessary bit and pieces. The complex was very clean. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which also had 2 bathrooms which was great. The ensuite had a bath as well as shower. The kitchen was good. We didn't hear our neighbours at all. We couldn't fault the security at Ultra Broadbeach. We found the reception staff helpful. The pool and spa area is great. We had the pool to ourselves very often. We would definitely stay here again. Having read previous reviews before we booked we weren't sure of what to expect and now that we have stayed there and enjoyed it we think people who wrote bad reviews must be extremely hard to please.

Draculas is a must see. We also did all the theme parks. We enjoyed Infinity - our teenagers loved this. Also can recommend Paradise Jet Boating - the 55 minute ride. We went up to Australia Zoo and this was well presented and good, as was the Corrumbin Wild life Night Tour.

We can recommend Sage Restaurant and Georges Restaurant, both of Broadbeach. We had great meals here.

If you like Seafood and are happy to cook, then go and buy it direct off the boats at the Gold Coast Fisherman's Co - op. You need to be there about 7.30 in the morning. It's on the way to SeaWorld. We bought a kilo of Bugs for 20 and also King prawns for 25.
